28 We proclaim [Christ], admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone perfect in Christ. – Col 1:28-29
As a church, God has called us to preach and teach Christ and His grace in our lives. What a powerful message! God calls us where we are and just as we are, but wants nothing more than for us to live lives completed by Him, His will, and His work in our lives. God sent His Son to rescue us from the punishment for sin and from the power of sin. We can’t be rescued from either in our own effort, but by God’s grace working in our lives and working out through our lives. This is why God’s Grace is a central theme of our message.
We have been blessed with a diverse church family including ages from newborns to nineties, backgrounds from businessmen to bikers, and a variety of churched or non-churched backgrounds. What unites us is our love for God our Father and desire to follow Christ His Son. Jesus called us to go and make disciples, so our desire is to see His family grow as we reach out and follow Him.
In the early church believers gathered regularly to grow in grace and in relationship with each other.
Acts 2:42 They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. 44 All the believers were together and had everything in common. 45 Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need. 46 Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, 47 praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.
We encourage fellowship and growing relationships through our Adult Bible Fellowships, Bible Studies, and special ministries throughout the year. As we follow Christ together, our relationship with Him grows and our relationships with each other grow.
